condensation on my dipstick
#4
how much are we talking about? Does the oil on the stick look "normal" (not like yellow sludge)? Car is running well?
I'm thinking, let it go for a bit, but definitely keep an eye on it. wild swings in temps and then your work schedule (24/48 firefighter schedule I'm assuming. me too) where it sits for a bit can lead to condensation in the pan. be sure to check the dipstick while the oil is still warm (but not too hot), after its been driven. Open the oil cap and see if you get any steam coming out. keep an eye on the exhaust for water, after the car is warmed up
good luck
have fun

thanks, and you guessed right, I am a firefighter. I'll keep an eye on it. There was a small amount cream colored emulsified oil on the end of the dipstick, which caught my attention in the first place. The car is running fine, though.
