Hi Guys, I would like to change the Concert I Radio to a Concert 2 in my 2001 Audi TT, I've been doing the homework and so far I know I need the Can Bus adapter/simulator to put it to work as it should...My question is ... Will the Concert 2 radio (with 2 *****, one each side) let the lid that covers the radio close?

Doubt it well close.

 

The ***** can be depressed..But either way, it should still close.

 

i have the concert 2 and it closes... i dont see why it wouldnt? i doubt audi would make things like that different, and it seems the **** are the same, just 2 instead of 1..

 

Thanks for your answers, I was a bit confused because seems some Concert II (A4) won't let you press the buttons, but finally I got the one that I need ... Thanks again!

I have just replaced mine with the concert 2 , now i have the headache of getting it wired right, can't find anything that will tell me how to activate it using the Vagcom,only instrument (17) then channel 62 shows me error so maybe i shot myself in the foot and it can't be done on a 2000 model even though Bentley manual shows a can-bus circuit.
If you have got yours working i would be interested to hear how and what you did.
