Default coilpacks.

I still have not seen these uprated coilpacks for the TT that everyone swears exist on the parts sites. Are you guys considering the "E" version of the OEM coilpacks as an uprated version? If not, then WTH are you guys talking about? Those are the ONLY coilpacks I've seen on ECStuning, TTstuff, etc

Also, on ECStuning... they have the adjustable FPR that goes from 25psi (1.7BAR) up to about 80 psi (5.4BAR). I like the idea of being able to turn down the fuel pressure is I wanted to. Anyone have experience with this?

There IS "upgraded" coilpacks, but they are like $400 and work, look, and last as long as the stock ones. The ones on ecs are revised or you can say upgraded to help make them last longer and misfire less.

Plenty of people have installed a adj fpr, its a good thing to have if you monitor your a/f and then you can adjust it. By adjusting the fpr, you will add more fuel in boost where you need it.

Yea, how hard or feasable is it to add a wideband A/F guage and fuel pressure guage in the cabin of the car?
I wouldn't wanna run an inline guage all the way into the car though lol. I would assume there's another option.

what year is your TT, it may have one on it. If not, you just get another o2 bung welded on and run it to the gauge and make simple electronic hook ups like a boost gauge.

The fpr is just an inline gauge where you cut your fuel line and slide in the gauge.

That or Vag-Com also can monitor your a/f ratios but no gauge sorry. Just do a check run once a week before you go out and tweak it if needed. Other than that it should be ok.

They will only be accurate if you have a vvt car with a wideband o2 on it. The nonVVT cars have a narrowband o2 and are far less accurate, but a decent approximation.
