Default cincy, question about ur diode mod

What is the purpose of disconnecting the battery initially? I don't have my radio codes which is why i ask. Is it to remove the risk of grounding out and shorting something?

You are connecting wires and exposing the bare wires. Its always best to unplug the battery to prevent anything bad happening to you or the car when messing with wiring.

BTW, you could of asked this in the diode mod thread or in pm.

i did mine and agnt08's without disconnecting the battery did you get the diodes i mailed them last week. also they go a certain way if you have it reversed your car will choke and die, so make sure there on the correct way before you solder them ( i say them but you only use one)

Cincy, i tried to pm you, and it said i couldnt dude to permission settings. ;-)

Yeah I got the diodes. Thanks so much (i say this until my car explodes and dies a horrible death. lol). I loved the hand crafted envelope, too. Why did you get so many of those things? I hope u didnt pay too much. The packaging and way you sent it out - I felt like I bought a commercially available product from a small mod company or something. Nice Job.
