most manufacturers offer programs for popular configurations (such as a k04 upgrade)and some will make a custom program specifically for your setup if you have something wild.

A chip will WORK with most turbo upgrades but its not likely to extract the best performance from a Non-OEM charger.

Also you can get a 5 hour trial before you buy the program (on flashable cars). From my research most of APR's gains are top end, and GIAC is more balanced with low end and top end gains(which gets better driver reviews generally). Almost all the chip manufacturers net the same peak output so you may want to test a few, if you can, to see what you like best.

You should also note that most of thier advertised claims include an intake (of some sort)and exhaust in thier test runs.

With APR, the programs are switchable thru the cruise control stalk. XCLR8TT, explained that a few posts up. Like I also mentioned before, I have the 93/100 programs. Since theres no 100+ octane gas locally, I've never had a chance to switch programs. I'm terrible at managing my money, but if/when I get some set aside, I want to track the car, and I'll get a chance to top it off with the REAL high test fuel.

Oh oops sorry [:@]...I saw that but I didnt read the whole thing.
I didnt know the "flashes" you were talking about were program indication flashes. I thought you were talking about re-flashes from the actual company. Like you can get four flashes for up to four programs....I guess I should have read the whole thing...laziness....its a killer [X(]
