changing brakes need help

Default changing brakes need help

I am changing the bakes on my tt and the front brakes have these sensors , am i suposed to use the old sensors on the new brake pads? i am having trouble removing the sensor from the old brake pads

any advice?

I am talking about the elctronic sensor. that plugs into a wire.

really? the pads have the holes for the sensor but the not the actuall sensor, the box shoes the sensor though.

Don't worry about it. Just make a wire loop and tape it into the connector to connect the circuit. The sensor is just there for people who never check their brake pads. You should check them everytime you rotate your tires (5000 miles) anyway.

oh SHOWES...well they should have come with them mine did...but they just pull out of the hold ones..cut them out with a saw if needed

hah ha yea shows the sensor. i ended up just looping the wire that connected to the pads, next time maybe ill get the sensors i guess its no biggie

brakes are all done.at least the fronts, the backs still look almost new.

yeh you just have to loop the wires together since most aftermarket pads don't have sensors.

Only driver side has the sensor anyway. I have hawk pads that came with the sensor. $90 for the pair of fronts though.
