At what point did you get the impression I was excited? My posts are pretty much information only without regard to emotion unless I state otherwise.

Audi's being as expensive as they are, I simply thought some people might appreciate some insight to alternate methods of squeezing out a little more performance. Some people might not care as much as I do about the ride, and just wanna go, so now theres a good list on where to start just above, thats all. If you want to keep the comfort, theres another list farther up.

Squeezing out preformance via replacing parts for weight is practically the last alternative to take - totally cracked up at Steve's link - sweet chocolate Christ! Now that's a go cart! Who would take a MX6 and strip it down ti zilch?!?!? too funny - more money than brains... lol

And Denim, if you grow a mullet I personally will get you a Camaro and take your TT on moral grounds

same as a test pipe, or coilovers or anything else that poses a potential safety or emmissions hazard. Since the hood is rigid and brittle it wont crumple like the OEM unit in case of a collision.

Basically its not crash tested so technically its not street legal. Ive never heard of anyone getting cited for having one outside of Cali though. I've had CF hoods on 2 cars myself and its never been brought up when I was pulled over.
