Car sounds?
All right, this question will be off the wall but I have to ask. Can you describe what your car sounds like? I recently installed the VTDA and I have a whole new aural experience, though I am not sure it is normal. I now hear a steady intake wheeze/whine(sounds like air flow) on virtually all acceleration but when I let offthe gas to shiftI can only describe the sound as Darth Vader exhaling. Yes, that is exactly it. A deep echoey sigh. Tell me that is normal. I have a forge DV also. I am not bothered by the saounds, I just want to be sure they are normal. Thanks for any insight.

RE: Car sounds?
Wow this is probably THE most noob question i've ever read.
But to answer, yes it sounds about right, although i've never read/heard of the DV been described as Darth Vader's Exhale. The wheeze/whine sound you hear is your VTDA sucking in air and when you hear Darth Vader exhaling that should be none other than your diverter valve. I have to say, reading your question was pretty funny.

RE: Car sounds?
Yes its just the turbo/intake and dv. You cant hear this stock because the air box cancels out the noise. But dont worry, you can laugh your *** of at moron soon enough, just look at the little drunk's pics and responses!
