If the car turns over but doesn't start then there has to be something wrong with either the fuel delivery or the ignition system. Check the connections to the Coils or as others have already mentioned a clogged fuel filter.

From how he described it, it would seem like the car shut down in the middle of driving. I've had similiar problems on other cars before and it was related to the alternator. I would check all the electical connections around the alternator and the battery first and report back.

I checked the compression yesterday because it the starter sounded like it was too easy to turn the engine. Well I had zero compression on all four cylinder. The timing belt was changed a month ago I checked it and it is on and looks fine and turns with the engine with the starter. So my guess is that it is the timing chain on the other side that took a crap. I had the car towed to a german car mechanic here in Fort Myers. Boy just when I thought that my car was running so good. My wife is pissed. I just turned 40 and this was going to be my play car, but so far It seems to have a problem every other week. I have had the car for 2 months. Hopefully after this this will be it and I will be OK for at least a year. [:@]

You would have a ticking noise and codes if the cam tensioner (what you are talking about) was taking a crap. You did just take one spark plug out at a time when you checked compression right?

If so, you could have skipped a tooth or 2 on the TB and could take action against the person that installed the TB

I took all of the spark plugs out before checking the compression. I am the one who changed the timing belt. I got the parts from ecs tunning. new everything I got their ultimate kit. There was no ticking noise.

He says to remove all the spark plugs too before checking the compression.

if you dont have compresson, you messed up the valves most likely.
