This winter weather is making my car go nuts. It takes a long time to warm up and some times i am impatient. I think this has caused the following codes.

17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
P1114 - 35-00 - -
17526 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating; B1 S2: Open Circuit
P1118 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16524 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: No Activity
P0140 - 35-00 - -



I cleared it once with my Vagcom (Very handy once again) and drove fine without the CEL's . Next cold start I pull the following codes once again.


3 Faults Found:
17526 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating; B1 S2: Open Circuit
P1118 - 35-00 - -
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
P1114 - 35-00 - -
16522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: Signal too High
P0138 - 35-00 - -


What do I do to fix this? Is this a common code. I am thinking the o2 sensor needs to be replaced, but which one, front or rear? Any part numbers. I think im going to get it off ECS tuning. Seems to be the best place to spend my money!

I believe "B1" is bank one, or your pre cat sensor.

My dad said that usally when one O2 sensor goes bad, you should replace both.

Is this what I should do ?

no need to replace the after cat sensor since it doesn't do anything useful. waste of money if you do

 

TSR- Did you ever find out what the culprit was? I am getting the exact same codes.
