Can't Open Fuel Door Flap

Can't Open Fuel Door Flap
I hadn't driven my 2001 Audi TT in over 2 months. The battery was completely dead. I replaced the battery and the car started right up. Everything is working just fine except the inside buttons to open the fuel flap and the inside trunk release. I can still open the trunk with the fob.
I thought it might be a fuse problem. I can't find in the Bentley Manual which fuse to check. Does anyone know which one it is? Also is there a way to manually open the fuel flap? I have one of those somewhat inacurate fuel gauges because of the bad instrument cluster and am not really sure how much fuel I have left. My trip odometer was reset to zero after the battery replacement; I've used that in the past to estimate fuel usage. I'd like to fill up before I run out of gas.
Help!

I'm having the same issues with my 2002 Audit TT convertible. There are several problems with my car which include the not opening the trunk or gas tank cap. The keys no longer work for the alarm since the main trip computer display needs to be replace. I've been delaying in replacing this part since it will require the dealership to reprogram the system if replaced.
Would opening the hide away door on the passagner side of the truck wall work for my car as well?
