He just blamed his poor boost control and possibly splitter setting on a diode.

My 180 is smooth as hell infact it beats my friends chipped 225.You sir need to think before you "speak" well post instead of talkin out the a$$ ....
Your friend must have some serious issues with his TT then, or maybe a really bad driver. got a video?
Guess you missed the memo, a FWD car (180/gti/jetta) is just as fast as a 225. Its called power:weight.

nah the splitter is straight it was rigged right made an H with the wired diode being in the middle it just wasnt doing it for me yea it works adds maybe 25hp tops. Deff made a difference over stock but it wasnt smooth at all it wasnt insane jerky either just a little but and chip is smoother and adds more power. the diode is for 180's I don't reccomend it for 225 unless your cool with a slight jerk once in a while...

wow, i love how you STILL pass off bad info since you cant get it to run right. Since YOU are the only one with the problem, my money is on you. Now when you get your chip and experience the same things, dont be surprised. Totally making my head hurt.

I know a few people running them on a 225 and not one person complained. Seriously, its your boost control and/or dv settings (is that 3 or 4 times i have said that? Wow, every time [:@])

No, 180fwd and 225 chip vs chip is rather close. It basically comes down to the driver.

they dont complain because they never rode in a chipped car and dont feel the smoothness of a chip vs diode... end of story! I speak from expirience DO NOT DO THE DIODE its not worth it. yes it will work, no it wont be sm,oth like stock anymore, yes you will gain hp, is it alot no but you can most deff feel the difference.
