Default Broken Mirror

Some d****bag broke my pass. side mirror last night. My local dealer quoted me two hours of labor at $115.00 plus around 250 for the part and painting. Does this sound right?

You might want to check ebay... You might get lucky and find one that's already the color of your car which would save you a few bucks. I did a quick search and saw a couple of them up there for sale.

Sounds like a DIY kinda fix. I replaced my wife's mirror on her Tc not that long ago. I mean, I know our Audi's are a bit more involved usually, but it shouldn't take 2 hours.

2hr= 1hr of coffee time maybe a small nap, 15min of work, and 45min of smoke breaks and bull****ing with the other mech.I know they have to quote you what the book says but I think whoever made that book wasnt thinking of a real mechanic they musta seen how long it took a monkey to replace somthing and used that time.

i completely agree.. in 2 hours I COULD do it.. this is supposed to be a mechanic that knows these things inside and out - but what r u gonna do? I checked ebay, and they only have ones with scratches on them.. I'd rather not get that. It would be alot easier if people didnt mess up other peoples cars during the night.
