Default Brake Upgrades?

Have any of you guys done s brake upgrade? The stock brakes seem pretty damn good so I was just going to upgrade the pads and disks once brake time rolls around as it does not seem that a brembo kit would really get me a lot of bang for the buck.

you can get the wilwood kit for about $845 from here http://www.hotrodsusa.com/store/dpbbfront_hat.html but then you need to find their ss line elswhere for like $60-70.

Had them for about 7-8 months and are great. Lightweight, cool to the touch in minutes and a simple install.

plus if you dont mind staying single piston you can get the ecs two piece rotor and upgraded pads but that isnt that much less than the ww kit.

I've got a Brembo Gran Turismo kit on the front. They are absolutely awesome. I put a set of Hawk HT-10 track pads in there the last track day and the the stopping power was amazing.. I could drive about 80 feet deeper into the corner before braking without any fade. Picked up my lap time by over 1 second.

Yeh, my car is just a street car, no need to dish out $1000 for a BBK. I just got x-drilled/slotted rotors and I should have gotten better pads, these rotors have eaten them up. Oh well I will know for next time

Pick up a set of Hawk HPS pads. They are great for street and Auto-X.
