A litre should do it, unless you have excessive spillage. I always have a backup litre just in case. BTW, if you're going w/ a higher temp fluid, ogracing.com has the best price i've found on superblue/typ200. Order enough stuff and you get free shipping.

You can rent the tools from a part store and they return your deposit when you return the tool. Its not that hard of a job, but if you dont feel comfortable doing it, $100 is pretty cheap for a job and new pads will last you years
