Default Brake pad indicator...

I put new pads on about 2 months ago. I needed rotors but had to wait until after the holidays. I installed new rotors yesterday (slotted, drilled) all the way around but now my brake pad indicator light comes on. The pads are good with a visual inspection, and still relatively new. The sensor is located in the front right assembly only, and all connections are clean and tight.

Has anyone else had this issue when installing new rotors? The light is more of a bother since I know the pads are good, but any advice in how to turn it off or fix it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oops, I meant front LEFT assembly for the sensor.

I know how you can fix it for good....

I had the same problem on my 7 series, I just went in...cut the actual sensor off....and soddered the ends together to create a loop. Reminder: I would never have a working sensor again...but it fixed the light issue....and as often as I check my brakes...etc...it didn't bother me...

just an idea!
