Default Bought a grille, doesnt fit right

I recently bought a grille off of Ebay and i dropped my car off at teh shop to get it installed.

This is the grille that i bought:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m29

However, when the shop tried to install it, they said that they were having some problems, because the mounting holes for the grill were exposed, heres a picture:

What do you guys think I should do?
The reason the car is in the shop is because i was involed in an accident.

yeah, look at your ebay pic, the grille is mounted flush with the front edge of the opening.

would look better flush rather than how its shown in your pic anyway.

jem or caractere is the way to go.

I would just add a plate to the underside of the bumper and then just bondo in the holes and then resray the bumper, no more holes

This is why I don't buy a damn thing off eBay. 99% of the crap the sell on there is horrible. sometimes people sell quality used products on eBay, and that's a good thing. However, now a days... you get fly by night companies that make 34543523462436246 different half *** products instead of a few solid products and they use eBay as their primary means of sale.

Word to the wise... don't ever buy anything from a company that uses eBay as their store. If they're making budget cuts like that, and they can't afford a real store in the real world to sell their merchandise... imagine where else they make budget cuts and cut corners to lower their overhead (crappy parts, cheap labor, rebuilt or remanufactured components). I'll stick with the companies that actually put money, time, and work into their product. If it costs $30 more, so be it. At least you can have peace of mind, which is worth big $$.

I wouldnt pass judgement on the grill just yet, they people installing it didit incorrectly and that shouldnt bring a bad name to everything on ebay. There are plenty of good products on ebay, its the "OMG, its too good to be true" products that you need to stay away from. Like turbo kits for $400 shipped. I have seen people with things from dv/bovs to external wastegates to spoilers that have worked just as good as a higher priced unit would.

I agree that not all ebay products are crap. For the cost of the body shop to bondo the holes and respray the bumper you could have went jem or caractere and had a nice recessed grill.

The flushed look is a good one though. LLTEK had a sport grill that was flush.

With the exception of a few things, I buy most things on ebay. - You just half to know how to shop.

I've only had a FEW cases where the parts are shitty. - However you must REMEMBER to look at there feedback and what the people are saying.

If they have 1400 positives in a month and 70 negitive...that says something....

Just be smart when you buy.
