GIAC, super insulated VTDA, 4BAR FPR, Forge 007DV yellow spring, ****, low profile engine bay trim, ES Dogbone Bushings, Defcon pre-recall suspension emulators, My own custom fitted front mounted force air feed rigged to the original Snorkel that came with the stock airbox.

very basic mods but enough to give me a little umph [8D]
im waiting on TTstuff to get back up and running, i have been waiting for the chance to order a darn Turbo intake hose from them, TTstuff is the cheapest site for those hoses.

why are you running a 4bar with a gaic chip, especially with only 17psi? You take that out and put the 3bar back in should allow the car to run much better.

well i need the 4 br FPR since im running the ****. its on the schwing Modshack site.

Go through here, there is a write up on it.

http://www.modshack.info/bamm.htm

**Bar FPR (necessary for proper operation of both 225 and 180 ****'s) Genuine German part***

****Note: A 4 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator or an adjustable with a range of at least 3-5 bar is absolutely necessary for proper operation!***

If i take it out then im gonna start runninglean all the time, and we knowhow that will end up <---[sm=owned.gif]

Dont know why you wasted the money on the **** in the first place. I would swap back the stock maf and 3bar and see how it runs.

Actualyl it runs quite well with the ****. eats a bit more gas if i slam the pedal but its actually torquier. espcially off the line. the APR kits come with a bigger MAF housing as well, it appears to be a common mod.

in either case what is the reasoning you have behind takign out the 4 bar and the **** or just the 4 bar?

"well i was watching it today and when it hits 15-17 the needle stays there but its a little erradic in the sence that its jumping back and forth 1 psi." thought it may be the cause of this unless you are getting buzzing from the gauge, then its your gauge.

Some people have gauges that buzz/hum when the boost is at its peak.

is that a mechanical fault or is that the design. cuz this buzzing description is definetly sounding like it. i think i will record it with my cellphoen cam. its 3megapix so it should be ok quality.
