BIG THANKS TO RAY!!! I'M HAPPY AS ****!
I got my TT clutch completed the link arrived i installed it she purrs like a kitten. Tonight I seafoamed it B>E>A>UTIFUL she runs great I just need to fine tune my diode mod (boost) but other than that I love it. Thanks MEANAUDIA6 and RayVeeDub for all your help and tips for the clutch install. Thanks everyone for being patient with my noob questions. Now we have a new issue well actually an old one it was throwing these codes before the clutch install...I pulled codes tonight and got the following: now before you say SEARCH I did both here and vortex so I am ahead of yall now on the search part.
Codes
P0501
Generic Veh Speed Sensor A Range/Performance
P1517
Main Relay Circu. Electrical Malfunction
P0118
Engne Coolant Temp Circuit High Input
P0102
MAF or VAF A Circuit Low Input
My question is what could these codes mean I have wrong? I am pretty sure I have 2 of them figured out, I need a new MAF and green coolant sensor? Is that right or am I wrong. What is a "VAF" I am stumped on the first two codes listed especially the P1517 (wtf) anyways i think P0501 is the rpm sensor but my rmp gauge works its my speedometer that doesn't work at all!

RE: BAck up and running now throwing codes like a *****
Bentley says: Check Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) power supply relay-J271. It powers the ECU module located under the cover just to the left of the right strut tower. also check fuse S10 (in fuse holder).

RedSapphire89(11:40:04PM): nope
RedSapphire89(11:40:34PM): the code deff. is main relay circuit electrical mafunctuion
RedSapphire89(11:40:42PM): but i have no idea as to what that means

RedSapphire89(11:41:05PM): and what is it
RedSapphire89(11:41:18PM): *main relay dur you just told me lol
rayveedub(11:41:35PM): its under the hood near the brake fluid res
rayveedub(11:41:49PM): i cant remember the number of it,
rayveedub(11:41:52PM): hmmm
rayveedub(11:41:55PM): .......
RedSapphire89(11:42:03PM): is it a black box lookinjg thing
rayveedub(11:42:03PM): 428 i think????
rayveedub(11:42:10PM): yeah
RedSapphire89(11:42:18PM): yea so what do i do with it
RedSapphire89(11:42:19PM): open it
rayveedub(11:42:25PM): it would help
RedSapphire89(11:42:27PM): and theres relay things in it
RedSapphire89(11:42:34PM): one of those is bad?
rayveedub(11:42:38PM): maybe
RedSapphire89(11:42:39PM): how do i tell
rayveedub(11:43:09PM): shake it around and hear if anything rattles
rayveedub(11:43:19PM): you have a fluke 88?
RedSapphire89(11:43:24PM): a what
rayveedub(11:43:30PM): mulitmeter
RedSapphire89(11:43:35PM): yea for sure
rayveedub(11:43:35PM): automotive

rayveedub(11:43:56PM): wont work then
RedSapphire89(11:43:57PM): got it at harbor freightRedSapphire89(11:44:01PM): o damn
rayveedub(11:44:06PM): definately wont work
RedSapphire89(11:44:35PM): well i will brb im gonna go check that box right quick im not doing anything right now so thanks ill report back in a few!
rayveedub(11:44:51PM): cool look for 428
RedSapphire89(12:14:11AM): holy ****
RedSapphire89(12:14:13AM): i love you
RedSapphire89(12:14:22AM): i pulled both 428 and 100
rayveedub(12:14:24AM): wtfRedSapphire89(12:14:30AM): put em back in cleared the codes
RedSapphire89(12:14:35AM): and bang speedo now works

Now i throw no codes what so ever and my speedometer works WOOOOOT You seriously saved me big money i was going to replace all the above! Now i will just replace the coolant sensor with the new green one its only 20 bucks wow i am excited as hell right now i was stumped on that relay for the longet time and the sppedometer woks yahooo go RAY (sorry im just excited as heck)
