I have to agree with Becca and ttalms, Hwy 29 up over St Helena out to Clearlake is the funest road ever, I drove twice a month to college sometimes I made amazing times hauling throught the hills, it is also were I learned how to drive fast. You screw up your dead[sm=smiley26.gif]

Any hilly road in the state of Virginia, particularly in the mountains, no one has mentioned the famous Blue Ridge Parkway. Watch out though 20 is a reckless and now carries a mandatory fine of $1000 for 3 years. Good roads though as they are well funded by the insane amount of traffic tickets. The worst roads are in Florida, although the beaches might be pretty the roads are poorly paved and there are almost no turns. Sure its fun to see how fast you can go but it gets a little boring after 10 miles of straightaway.

US 129, aka Deals Gap, aka The Tail of the Dragon on the Tennessee / N. Carolina boarder. With 318 curves over 11 miles this road is truly epic. The curves are tight and most of the road is mainly in 2nd gear, with a few straights long enough for 3rd gear. For perspective the legendary Nürburgring or Green Hell has only 174 bends over 14 miles.
