Default audiworld forum

i figured i'd ask this question here b/c you guys seem very nice and wont laugh when i ask this...

i pretty much read this forum, the vwVortex forum, and the audiworld forum everyday. i have a 01 225qc.

the audiworld forum board doesnt look like this one (not as nice a tree structure) and i have a hard time reading it.

when i click some of the links, the posts dont show up. i notice the 'nr' icon next to some posts, but it seems like a lot of the reponses just have sigs.

i tried signing up as a member thinking that if you were logged in you could see the replies, but no luck. is it just me or is there a special way of looking at those posts?

Yeah on audiworld people don't always place posts in the body. They use the subject line only. Hence you get the little light brown icon.

the green icon (if you have that turned on) is for off topic posts, stuff not Audi related. the Brown just means theres no subject, only the title. Saves clicking with the mouse if your response fits in the subject line. If theres a , theres just a link in the subject, those are worth clicking, but just "NT" isnt.

yeah, but you can't beat AW for technical info. As far as I'm concerned that site (not necessarily the forum) is IT when it comes to info.

The forum has tons of good stuff if you search, but they're not as friendly if your decision doesn't match what they did. (Like the **** I got for running summer sport tires in the winter). Hey, I made it thru the winter, w/o a scratch, or a lost life, and I didn't cord my tires. Not everyone can afford a set of summer and winter tires.

Exclamation 17 Audi A8L 4.0T Hard start After warm

I have a 2017 Audi A8l 4.0T v8 I have nothing done to the car I only have a muffler delete and a mid resonator delete. I just replaced the spark plugs also because it was that time and I thought it would help with this problem. The car when it's cold would start perfectly fine but after it gets to temps and then you turn the car off after leaving it to sit for 10 minutes and try to start it, it will start and then die right away. Try to start it again it will crank for a while until it starts. Whats the problem? Please help.
