Just out of plain curiosity, what is the top speed on a stock 2001 225 TT?

I think its alot faster when ur chipped out?? Im apr chipped any ideas on what the top speed is if one has a chip??

My 2003 225Q cuts power in the 130's... def not 155.

Yeah my '03 180 fwd cuts out around 125-130. Witch is fast enough for me !!!

^ that's with the governor in.

though when chipped/flashed, it raiss the top speed governer to about 145

With the gov .. with no chip. Bone stock . Can't remember what the rpm's were at.

im guessing around 4.5-5k

i hit max at around ~145mph on the drive to vegas a few months back and rpms were in that region. this was at nite as well, so temps were in the low 60's.

145 at night would make me tinkel a lil bit.
Now I know the bull sh*tters will come out with this question!!! Is there a TT that can do 200mph?!?!?
If a civic can do it with a stock engine I hope an audi can do it
