Default Audi TT new FMIC and Grille... Need intercooler help

Before installing the Tcarbon front mount intercooler i was boosting about 18psi and now i'm getting about 10psi and in 3rd gear it'll go up to about 13psi. Is this normal because the Tcarbon is too restrictive, could there be some kind of a kink in the hosing, or could it be a boost leak? My friend told me to get some PVC piping w/ a valve stem tapped in then spray everything down with soapy water. With air pressure in the system i some bubbles should come up if there is any leak. I just don't' want to take off my front bumper and do the test until i know that its the last possible thing that could be the problem.

Does any one have any trouble shooting tips that may help me?

I cheaped out and painted the grill myself and it doesn't fit right. i have a new front lip on order and i'll have the grille fixed when i get the lip painted and installed.

For the grill heat it up with a heat gun and mold it in there. I just ordered on so hopefully it isn't f@cked.

Found the leak... Its on the hose where the Map sensor bolts up and i don't' know of any real fix for it other then exchanging it out for a new one, defective part. We wrapped it with electric tape about a hundred time as a temporary fix. I'm getting it's still leaking but at least now i'm getting 15psi and the leak is a lot slower.

update:

I talked to Tcarbon and they said that they're working on a new upper piping and mount for the map sensor and will send me a new one free of charge.

My front bumper is too small to show off the intercooler so i ordered a new front lip that came in today. It looks like i'm gonna have to chop up the factory bumper to make it fit so i i guess i'm going to have to sell the OSIR lip. any takers? I paid $600 = shipping last year and i don't know how much it goes for used. Its painted Stock silver of my 2000 Audi tt Quarto and has a few rock chips and some scratches underneath.
I'm also considering some stagered 19's for my car.

Dropped down the intercooler so i won't have a gap between it and the bottom of the new lip.
