Audi TT or BMW 335i?

Audi TT or BMW 335i?
I'm on the fence between leasing the TT Quattro or the Bimmer 335i. Optioned out to my taste, the cost is about the same. I've driven both and find the drive of the 335i superior, but really prefer the interior and exterior styling of the TT. I've posted this same message on the Bimmer board, but would like to hear from TT owners/enthusiasts the case for (or against) the TT. Thanks in advance!

Iconic, aircraft inspired, head turning styling, and a turbo platform that begs for more power.
OR
a BMW. ; )
Really, I don't know anything about the BMW. twin turbo straight 6? Sounds like fun, and you can't complain about 300hp. Still gotta give it to the TT for looks though, and 225hp out of a 1.8 - 4 isn't bad.

Well are you comparing the brand new TT and 335? I mean i like the TT and all but i think the new 335 is sick, Maybe if the new TT came with the 2.0T AND quattro it would be better, but you can only get quattro on the V6 which sucks, So pretty much i'd get the 335 until audi stops playing games and makes the 2.0T quattro. :-D

Oh, BMW all the way!! That's why I bought an audi TT!
Come on now, your asking folks on an audi forum to compare two totally different style cars and we're all bias to one anyways. Thus, why we're on this forum. Obviously we enjoy the car enough to keep it over getting anything else that we want within reason.
Drive both, figure out which you like.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude but people continue to post on here asking why they should buy a TT or asking to compare cars. Read the FAQ and it should answer most your questions. Beyond that, it's your money and your decision.

I'm looking at the new, 2008 TT with the V6. I'm just trying to get a sense of the experiences people have had with the TT specifically, and Audi more generally. This is why I posted this question on an Audi board.

TT all the way then. I would have to drive the BMW to see if it really out does the TT in driveabilty but if you drove both I would have to take your word on it. But if you drove the TT with their new magnetic suspension and their improved mechanical power steering Im not sure the BMW is much better. Im getting the new 2.0T in a month so Im biased as hell.

The 2.0T with a $500 chip will be much faster than the 3.2L. Even with only fwd the car will be better overall.

I honestly don't consider Audi's and BMWs in the same class of car. I mean I guess they would be technically; but they're just for different things and driving styles. I wouldn't consider either of them better than the other, but rather they both have their better qualities. It's just up to you to decide which of those qualities is most important to you.
