has anybody got any advice regarding a TT roadster 2001 which has an alarm fault and I suspect an LED fault on the doors (I think the two are linked).

(just to add the car main battery has been tested (drop tested too) and the alternator has been tested and is fine)

When you park up the car and lock the car the LED's on the door stay on solid, with what looks like a little power surge as they flicker in an even timing. They should just blink on and off but they don't, they stay on and blink within the solid light. Then at random could be days it could be hours between - the alarm will sound and won't switch off with the remote until you put the key in the ignition and start the car.

Any further tests you require to help diagnose this problem I am happy to do.
