ok for those of you that are wanting a louder whoosh sound from your car give up. unless you want the car to run like poop just stick to the DVs. so many people are posting about BOVs and DVs. We drive european 1.8 Ts not hondas or toyotas. Blow off valves vent into the air and the maf sensor can't take this into account. and if you buy a blow off vave with a recirculating kit your just wasting more money when the forge 007 dv works great for $150 with 3 springs for tuning. yea the other valves like the HKS super sequential blow off valve with the recirculating kit is great but costs $300!!! and wont give a louder noise. So stick with the DVs that are made for our cars. If you want a loud whoosh get a VTDA or TTDA (cold air intake) and a new Dv

With a CAI such as a VTDA or Injen, the air inlet isn't muffled by a box. You'll hear the air rushing in and when the DV dumps, you also hear that as well.

My hyperboost with my intake sounds great, a huge crash of air. I think it sounds way better than the high pitched squeel of a bov.

Aww man! I really wanted my car to sound like my friends civic too!
Gotta love the Wooooooooooooooosh!

In all honestly I like the way my car sounds stock!
This doesn't mean I'm not up for performance mods though.
