Default ATC or AWP????

So im lookin to buy a new MAF and i keep finding 2 different modles. One for ATC engine codes and another for AWP. Is there a difference because the AWP model is like $15 more than the ATC. And i dont wanna buy one and have it not work cuz my engine code is AWP or ATC. How do i know?

ATC - 2000 180q
AWP - 2001+ 180q

Its in the ***TT and 1.8T FAQ.*** post at the top of the forum. Very helpful for these type of questions.

I have a 2001 with ATC, it's better to open the hood and look at the code.
