Ashtray Removal & AUX Power?
Quick questions. How do I completely remove the ashtray drawer, I want to mount my sat radio there. Second, is there an aux. 12v power adapter, or would I have to hardwire that in? Thanks mucho.

I hardwired (ignition -on powered 5 amp in-line) a three outlet unit (Wally World or such). It fit likea glove into the compartment under the ashtray. Works for the GPS, radar and cell charger). Think it ran me $9.00 and an hour to stash the wiring well. I haven't opened the ashtray since.

unscrew it?
Theres a few screws on the underside of the dash, then the ashtray piece slides forward maybe 1/2", then you can wiggle it free. Its really not that hard, I managed to figure it out w/o looking for directions.

RE: Ashtray Removal & AUX Power?
Yeah thanks. I saw the screw, unscrewed it.. I guess I was just afraid of giving it a tug. I snapped my mirror switch and found out the damn thing is over 100 bucks. I cant afford to keep breaking stuff, so I just wanted to make sure. Thanks, I know it sounds stupid.. but I needed some re-assuring.
