It will fit. The ecu does matter. It should be the same tune as the awd mkiv. Is it worth it.... deff not

i almost bought one, i actually did, and told them not to bother shipping it and just refund me... bought other fun stuff instead which was far more satisfying...

just do a custom turbo kit if you want the power

Default Thx CincyTT

what do u mean by same tune as AWD golf?

like.. 4bar FPR / 3" Map ?

I know K04-001 is not worth it, but that's just fit for me i guess... since my k03s is completely gone now...

The AWD is basically the same ecu as the ATC. meaning if they can do one, they should be able to do the other. Not sure what they use for fueling. Plus, if you have a 2000, you have a ko3, just find a used ko3s for just over $100 and install that. No tuning needed

Do all 2000 audi TT's have this ko3 turbo ? And if I were to install a k03s would i see gains with my ARP chip, drop-in Air filter, and BF Side mount intercooler? I was also thinking about getting a 42draftdesigns 180Q downpipe but Im hesitant as any future turbo mods will make this $575.00 dollar purchase useless.

What are the options for a k04 on a 2000 ATC TTQC ?

Yes, all 00-01 ATC motors have a ko3

The ko4 is only rated 5hp more than a ko3s. The gains wont be huge swapping to either, maybe 5-10whp. Only way your are going to see more power is straining the turbo by running way to much psi (23-26psi) or increasing the timing. The ecu can adjust for the minor change in flow at the same psi

Wouldn't the K04 be a direct bolt-in swap for the K03? I thought it was and requires no additional tuning if used stock and at the same boost..? Also, wouldn't this leave you set up for increased power later (however small) when you do want to chip it and/or increase boost due to the K04 being bigger?
