Default apexi turbo timer

anyone have the apexi turbo timer? does it monitor the a/f ratio? what other parts does it monitor? and how do you like the overall usage?

yup i got it and two of the features like 02 sensor or A/f ratio don't work because the way the car's electrical system works you can make them work but you basically rewire some parts of the system. (the battery voltage works though) But yes i like the way it works, but if you can wait in your car for like 2 minutes its the same thing i like the way it looks and i dont have to wait in my car to let it cool down. BTW u can't use the keyless entry u have to manually put the key in ther door and lock the car while the turbo timer is counting down.

oh yea the a/f is only a guess not acutal readings! you'll need a AFC for that.

AFC? or do you mean air fuel guage? i guess its important to monitor that if you upgrade to an eliminator

the apexi universal turbo timer is good for around $100 bucks works good so far

@MA.. I thought I read the 225 did not need a turbo timer like the 180 because it has one from Audi. Is it necessary to upgrade on a 225?

both don't need turbo timers unless you intend driving them hard on track days when the car needs to idle to help cool the turbo because of hard driving, anything that shows o2 sensor readings and air flow I would call a systems monitor not a turbo timer

where did u hear that? the turbo timer keeps the engine running after you take the key in the ignition so....no the 225 doesnt already have this and i would get one if you dont like waiting in your car after your turn the key
