Anyone up for a Trade for 2000 S4
I have a 2000 S4 6sp for trade. It has all maintenance done including timing belt service, new belts, fairly new RS4 clutch, MTM chip, boost controller, 10k on tires, and a laundry list of new parts that I'll email to anyone. The car is is great condition. Color is silver with Alcantera and sport trim (none of that immitation wood). It's really a great car, but I'm bored and I want a TT 225 hp coupefor better gas mileage too.
Any trade must have timing belt done or very low mileage.
email me at richmk11@earthlink.netor call Richard at 865-806-0477. I don't visit the forums much. I'm located in Tennessee.

The TT is a gorgeous car, but you're right the S4 with a chip is scary fast. Just looking for a change and I don't know if I could drive a non-quattro car now. BMW M3 is my second choice, but the E46 starts at 25-30K used.

Problem is, I drive all over the southeast and rack up thousands of miles on my cars. I suppose I should have mentioned the S4 has 145k, but it runs like it has 30k. Doesn't burn any oil, all high failure items replaced including auxiliary water pump, pullies, fan controller, you name it...it's new. If I buy a high end car like an M3, I'll lose a lot of money. The 225 TT can be obtained for 13k with relatively low miles and gets great gas mileage too.

I'd trade, but I've put too much into the car now to let it go. Not to mention, a TT stands out, and stoopid people go 'wow, what kind of car is that?' only because its a sleek little coupe. S4's look a bit like A4's, and I've had A4's. Unless you know the difference, it doesn't have the same 'wow' factor.

haha funny thing about this. i was talking to this kid about this post. how i said i wish the tt had the performance of the s4.
and the kid goes well i think the s4 looks better then the tt. so basically hes saying hed rather have an a4 which is pretty much a passat over the tt. i dunno i love the s4..but imo i think the tt just looks better...i mean its a sexy little car lol
