Default Anyone else freakin' love your TT?

This is the first car of this type that I've owned. I come from a large Honda background.. actually it's:
1980 Chevy Camaro
1989 Chevy Z24 (Cavalier)
1992 Honda Civic Si
1990 Honda CRX Si
1994 Jeep Cherokee
1995 Honda Prelude Si
.........
2002 Audi TT 225 Roadster

I'm going to have to have this grin surgically removed. I can't believe the difference in the feel between this any anything else I've owned. Even the CRX and Prelude, which are so-called "Sports Cars". The feel and control and power are just uncomparable to anything I've felt before. I test drove the Mercedes SLK 230 and it just didn't feel like a sports car. I could have bought a 1998-1999 Boxster, but I figured my best bang for the buck was the TT (the Miata is an old-man car). I'm still in the "cloud 9 zone" and I still haven't had the top down yet.

After owning my 05 TT black/black since last August, I STILL get out of the car and STILL say "I Love That Car"....previously owned 2 Firebirds.

LOL! I just sold my 1g 90 Eclipse GSX for a 2000 TT coupe. I'm in the same boat with you there. To me, the eclipse and TT and duals of one another. The TT is sexy/sleek in appearance but expensive to make quick/fast, whereas the Eclipse is decent in appearance but cheap to make fast. I can't get out of these AWD turbo cars

By the way, just picked up the TT last night and I absolutely love this car. What a great feel and great style inside and out. w00t!

ha, I like to stand in the parking lot, admiring my car, and asking outloud 'who owns that sweet looking Audi', then I say 'Oh yeah, its me', get in, and drive away with a smile.
