Default Any Problems with metal water pumps leaking?

I was at a shop asking about going to a metal impeller pump and they said since they are not OEM they have had problems with the pumps leaking at the seal. Anyone? ECS or any of these OK with not problems?

Don't want do it 3 times in short order! Been there on an MX6 Dual overhead cam V6. Bought the best knock offs and ended up doing it 3 times in 1 year or maybe 12k miles. The 3rd time I went OEM and no issues afterward. I do this work myself and I do not want to go through the hell doing this so many times.

no, they dont leak unless they are installed poorly. Its the same pump, just use a metal impeller that wont break off
