I think the newer models just got a bump in power, but it was based on the year, not package.

Quote Wiki:
For the 2003-04 model years, the V6 produced 195 kW (260 hp) and 350 Nm (260 ft·lbf) of torque in the sedan, 210 kW (280 hp) and 365 Nm (270 ft·lbf) in the coupe. However, owners of various G35 enthusiast groups have shown that the engine in the sedan produces nearly the same amount of power as the coupe. In the 2005 and 2006 model years, those with automatic transmissions (both sedan and coupe) produced 210 kW (280 hp) and 365 Nm (270 ft·lbf) of torque, while those with manual transmissions produced 222 kW (298 hp) and 350 Nm (260 ft·lbf) of torque (again, both in sedan and coupe form). There is speculation that the output did not actually change, and that Infiniti was simply taking advantage of the outdated SAE standard of rating horsepower.

In short they are all basically the same.
2007 models are bumped up to 306 hp though.

It has 280.... the horsepower difference comes in with a manual and automatic option. auto has 280, manny has 298...

I do like the revv matching sequential gearbox though.. and everybody loves how these cars sound.

But what about performance options? Eh? What could I do there?

i think the G is way overated the interior sucks and feels very cheap. the only nice thing are the seats....and will cost more to get gains from it than a TT will/does Nissan needs to take the headlights from the Z and the taillights from the G and make a new car...called...uhhh.....THE ZG lol

I have the opportunity to get a g35 coupe from my dad. He wants to trade me straight up for the TT. It is a 06 G35 liquid platinum with nav... only problem is it is an auto. What do you all think? It is decently fast and is RWD. But im thinking I would have to throw in about 5k for a twin turbo kit to get some real power out of it.

Opinions?
I say automatic's lame for a sports car. Lamer than FWD[:'(] (sorry, I still hate it)

I'd take that car straight up and sell that piece. It's worth at least $26k, considerably more than your TT. Take that and buy whatever car you want instead.
