airbag light / headrest?

airbag light / headrest?
This may seem like a silly question, but with all this complex German engineering, you never know. I needed a leather sample for a dye kit so I took my seat out. Nothing to spare underneath with all the complicated stuff down there, so I figured I'll, just send my headrest as a sample (toLeathermagic). I put the seat back, connected all 3 plugs, and now the airbag light is on. Is there possibly any interconnect with the headrest that could cause this? All the other electronics work flawlessly (knock on wood).

RE: airbag light / headrest?
If you took out the seat and had the key on you would set a fault for the airbag on the side of the seat, You should be able to see writing on the outer side bolster on the seat that says airbag. If you have or know someone with a scan tool you can erase the fault and it shouln't come back on. Next time you remove the seat make sure you don't cycle the key, the connector for the airbag is the yellow one under the seat.

Don't disconnect the battery unless you have your radio code!!!
Wouldn't want to put your radio into safe mode!
