Default aftermarket stereo

I removed my BOSE deck and installed a aftermarket unit using a metra 70-1787 harness, now I'm getting a pop noise on power off/switch to I-pod -radio- cd. 2001 roadster ,75000 miles

Did you remove the Bose amplifier and run new wires to your speakers?

You don't need to remove the bose amp. You need a "ground loop isolator" with rca connections to go in between the harness and the deck. It's $20 from radio shack. That will get rid of your loud pop.
