aftermarket alarms
Im wondering if anybody has any recommendations on a high end alarm system for the TT. Just caught somebody trying to break into my car, parked right in front my own ****ing house. Needless to say I've got blood all over my shoe, and that mother****er is missing some of his teeth. Anyway, I know my alarm in the TT works intermittently, and its just that dinky little horn. I want one like in my Dad's 5 series, just a loud *** high pitched annoying siren. Anyway, just looking for recommendations based on your personal experience. Thanks.

RE: aftermarket alarms
viper xv791's are nice, they have two way technology so you get a notification on a led display on ur remote in thew event of a break in. The only down side is that they are a combo unit with an alarm, remote start, and keyless entry, so you would be over paying if you have a mtx unless you know how to bybass the clutch switch which can be tricky. another thing to consider (which i think was mentioned) is to upgrade the horn there are numerous applications one we use in our install bay is very loud, high pitch and i'll be damned if anyone would want to hear that damn thing going off for more than a few seconds i can post the name of that siren tomorrow if you like.
