Default AFR Logging?

Hi there, I'm new to the TT scene but not audi, I actually bought TheTTKid's car. I was wondering if anybody could possibly provide me with what my air to fuel ratio should actually look like. I'm sitting at about 14.7-14.8 : 1 at idle and as I step on it it increases. Due to the fact that it needs a tbelt (badly) i don't really beat on it just yet so i don't know if it will level off or what. Anybody have an actual log or input?

When the car is out of boost, it should be in the 14.7:1 range. When in boost, it should be right around 13:1 or richer (12's). If you have a vagcom, you can log block 031 and then convert it to by multiplying it by 14.5. Since your car is a narrowband car, it wont be as accurate as a newer wideband car.

hmmm...I have to wait till i get the car back to run it, i don't have vagcom just the liquid tt computer that Kiva had put in. If I remember correctly from the three seconds I was looking it was actually burning leaner than 14.7 under boost...I'm on the OC.T tune he had though and will be running APR's in a couple weeks.

Spending money swapping stock turbo tunes is silly. The only way to get a real afr reading is to install a new wbo2 sensor and gauge in the car. The chip tunes are leaner for a stock turbo than those for much larger. You wont harm anything

well the only reason i am is because the company that did the oct sucks, APR is awesome, and they are giving me their fully loaded ecu for 500 instead of 1200. Not to mention when I do go to maybe a K04 it's pretty cheap to just upgrade their software i believe. So why not haha

I should also mention i'm running a bit more stuff than is suggest to run with the stage 1 oct, such as a turbo back, no cats, and a handful of things. The tech guys at APR suggested doing their 1/2 tune which is kind of a halfway between. Should be good.

Prepare to be disappointed and have less money in the account. That $500 would be better towards the TB than an unneeded tune from one of the weakest programs

hmm...so keep running what it already has? I've put it back to how it should be with the OCT from when Kiva had it. No more blow off, back to hyperboost, fixed up the modshack intake, various other things. Any other recommendations until i have the money to do a turbo? MBC? or scrap that to...As of right now I took that out and i'm running the stock N75 which is what the guys at stratmosphere suggested.

Wait... Some of the newer cars come factory with a wideband??? That's awsome! When did the TT start using a Wideband from the factory?
