Default Adjustable control arms

ok, heres the update overall. the arms i am currently using have 11000 lbs joints. theres is an option for higher end joints that support 20000lbs. they are better but not commonly used by most people due to the costs. the arms i have finalized i can recreate for $250 a pair. with the nicer joints they will be 290. I tried to take into account every aspect of the design and the arms are a perfect direct fit. I was hopingto make them for a little less money, but i did not realize the costs asociated with machining labor. if anyone is interested in them i will make them a set. if i get atleast 4 people that get them i cam probably drop the price to $220 again, since machining larger amounts of parts reduces individual costs. the fabrication time will be 2 weeks or lesslead time and shipped standard. so you get them in about 2.5 weeks

I am very interested. are these front or rear control arms?
Put me on the list.
When are we looking at having them ready?

** Are these control arms compatible with the DEFCON bushing kit, or do these satisfy that same need without the bushing kit? ie: Are they as tight a fit as the original TT control arms that the DEFCON kit is designed to emulate?

Are you having both types made or only one? Which one? I like the sound of the aluminum set.

these are rear control arms. for the front the best thing you can do is get an adjustable pillow ball strut tower bushing. thats one of the few things we can do to get a lot of adjustment. i'm looking into that soon.
the lead time right now is about 1.5 weeks for the machine shop to make me the remaining components. i decided to eat the cost of the machine shop and if no one gets the arms i'll have both top and bottom adjustable. and spare parts to make more. hahhaha. i not only wanted to get rid of the bad camber but also get rid of the bushings. keep checking this post as iwill update with some pictures as soon as they are ready.

here are some pics . i did some laps on them tonight and tomorrow i'm going to take it hard on them. they cleared my alignment from the initial adjustment, and it was preety easy to turn the rod to tweak the camber more.

warranty wise i can say if any part brakes i'll replace it. but if you manage to brake these joints you wont have a car to put them back on. these rods and joints are the heaviest you can find. most arms are 14mm or 5/8" rods. i got the biggest ones you can find to prevent failiure. 3/4" hardened steel swagged ends for extra strength. i will offer 2 options one with these joint one that will be about 50 more with these really high end joints but they go for 30 dollars more each joint. i dont think it was worth it. these joints will take 11000 lbs to tear through the metal and are really smooth rolling.

i updated the top post, and as you can see i already got my car dirty. we just got our first day of rain. it was great fun letting the car loose. the arms are holding up great. they are doing what they are meant to do. which is keep the alignment. i would also recommend replacing the bushing in theremaining stock arms to make it nice and stiff. i put my arms on the bottom since i have my car about 2" lower than stock. you can put them on bottom or on top. the swap is a DIY even with jackstands. the alignement has to be done by someone who is trained to perform the job.
