Default ABS Mystery - Calling all Pros

So I recently bought my first TT, and I'm anxious to get on the road. Unfortunately I have the dreaded ABS light + ESP Light + Flashing Brake light. Here's what I've done so far (reading posts from here and many other places):

I replaced the ABS pump&module Model: 8N0614517A/8N0907379E
I bled the whole system, confirmed no leaks
All rotors and pads are new
Brake fluid is toped off, and float is working properly

So I'm at a complete loss!

I have a hand held VAG, but when I go into ABS is cannot connect (Link Error) and I do get an engine code saying No Communication with the ABS..

It seems like maybe wiring?? Not sure if there are ABS relays, other fuses, etc.. or is there any way to test pin outs on the ECU, wiring diagrams.. any help is much appreciated.
