42DD dp, with stock cat back Yes/No?
after search on the forum about how good the 3"downpipe's perform. I would interest to get one since 42DD has 10% off on TT stuffs now.
But is it ok to just get dp with stock catback?
Or just get a catback system (blueflame catback) and ignore the dp?
Thanks,
gy

I just caught that....stay away from ttstuff....I can not stress this enough. Why go thru a middle man when you could go to 42dd and get it directly from them for $600. Please run a search on ttstuff others have ahd the same issues! Plus the guys over at 42dd are great to work with...I had mine in a matter of 2 weeks!

^ it was the bolts/nuts/washers that kind of rattled off. they seemed to have fixed that problem. and the gains you will experience with a cat-back is merely a placebo effect.
sux that the quattro DP's cost so fukking much. $600 for a damn DP! wtf!

I'm running the 42DD down pipe with cat mated to my stock exhaust right now on a 180- no rubbing/rattle problems and awesome power/throttle response gains. It was almost like getting chipped all over again! Upgrading the dogbone motor mount and properly adjusting the pipe sections is recommended to eliminate clearance related rubbing issues. I think gTT was talking about the sale of TT RELATED STUFF on 42's website, not actually buying the DP from TTstuff. There are holiday discounts on 42's site FYI. I plan on getting a cat-back in the future but coilovers and rear sway are first.
