Default 3in DP Tips?

I received a 3in Ebay DP for Christmas. I also had my wife purchase the appropriate gaskets and test pipe from 42DD.

Now that I have everything ready its time to install it. I have a few questions first though:

180FWD

1. Does the EBay DP serve as both the DP and Test Pipe or was it a good idea for me to purchase 42DD test pipe?
2. Gaskets vs No Gaskets?
3. I know the install procedure is pretty straight forward but are there any tools that essentially make this easier than normal? Anything you wished you had during your install that you know would have helped?

That second peice is a test pipe. The 42dd peice is nice since it keeps it at 3" instead of going down to stock diam. But it does look however you are missing a peice if thats everything. There should be a 4" section with a 3 hole flange on it to fit w/e diam catback you have.

2. Gaskets vs No Gaskets? No gaskets. Remove all the bits of the old ones

17mm deep socket, PB Blaster (1hour set time), med and large socket, o2 socket, and new exhaust sleeve since mine rusted and broke
Anything you wished you had during your install that you know would have helped? Just take your time

So you have this small peice with the post o2 sensor in 2.5" for your catback (borla?)

I'm not rocking a catback.

I'm going to connect A to B and clamp to stock exhaust.

I'm hoping custom 3in catback ASAP so I'll probably keep the 42DD test pipe.

ok, then you are fine. When you get a catback, then get that piece to connect the TP to the catback.
