On paper, a stock g35 (lo-mid 5s) will beat a stock 225 (mid 6s) from 0-60. Chipped 225 should do 0-60 in high 5s. So, with equal drivers, g60 wins.
But, TT always looks better.
Shoot hoops with him, might have a better chance of winning.

My audi original 2001 sales brochure says the 225 coupe does 0-60 in 6.3, roadster 225 in 6.7.
FWIW, I've not seen sub 6 second times published for a 225. Guys with chipped 225 routine report high 5s, but again, not seen that published in any of the car mags or places where their done in a controled environment.
On paper, g35 wins.

yeah when I said coupe I meant g35. Though I will have an answer this weekend. I refuse to race from a dig, (still have a stock clutch (80k) and hope to keep it til spring). Who has an advantage from a dig?

My 225 will eat the *** out of a stock G35. I'm chipped with a 3"DP. And like as stated before, the TT makes up for the power disadvantage with better styling and AWD. You can keep the G35. I liked them when they first came out, but unlike the styling of the TT it gets worse the more you see it.

It's not worth the price they charge for a new one. I hear there's an eBay DP that's under $200 for the 225hp now. I would have gone that route if they were available when I bought mine.

I don't get it. Why don't you just race the guy and find out. Is your ego that frail? Either you win or you lose, what's the big deal? I raced an M5 in my chipped TT. I knew he would kick my a** but it was still fun to race. By the way, I held him off until the middle of third with the nice awd launch and him spinning like a mother.
