This may sound like a stupid question but did any of you try turning off the traction control before you ran? Because I think you handicapped yourselves! Example, Did the brown Cam. even have traction control or anybody else for that matter?

I agree with "225tt" by saying driving skills can shave off more time than most would think. And I am not bad mouthing anyone posting drag times by any means. It takes some practice. But as a comparison. Back when my 225TT had a stock turbo APR 93 w/Milltek exhaust. It ran pretty consistent 9.0- 9.1 in the 1/8th mile @ i think..76mph. I ran a 8.88 (1.8 60') with APR 100 program one night, and that was my only run for the night.Which I think was great for a Roadster!People at the track were shocked. I actually was running a RX8 with a turbo kit and beat him (i'm sure he would have caught meon a1/4 strip. With those 1/8th mile time you would think I could get into the mid 13's in the 1/4....but that never happened. My best 1/4 mile was a 13.95 @ 99. That K04 turbo seems to run out of steam after the 1/8th mile. Or it could be the 90 degree weather here in Fl [:@]
We'll see what she can do with the APR 3+ kit at Fixxfest Oct 28th woooohooo!

You know its funny I smoked a stock 06/07 V-8 Camaro about a year or so ago. But that was from a rolling start at 40 mph. At the other end I was at 132 & the Cam was only about 117_118 tops. I never gave it a second thought that my times would or "could" have been that bad at the track. Sorry I know this is an old thread folks.

If you're running a consistent 9.0 - 9.1, you're going a bit faster than 76mph.
I just ran for the first time on the 1/8th tonight and got 9.532 @ 76.01mph.
Stock 2003 225.
I tried to launch from around 3k and 4.5k and either way it sucked. I wish it'd just get up and go!
All-in-all, I think I did pretty good considering this was my first time ever on the track.
Ps. Sorry to dig up an old post.

I have a bet riding with a friend that I cant beat a 14.5 or lower. I am hoping to have a good chance because I am currently installing my 2 step launch control with no lift shifting, so that should give me an edge. What do you guys think I'll run?
