I don't know about doing mid 8's or low 9's because I seen cars like the Evos,STI's,mods mustangs and they do high 8's or low 9's and we're talking about 300+ hpsomething that is far from where i'm at with my TT. About the reaction... has a lot to do with the time specially on a 1/8 mile track, I don't know blown camaroif you run on 1/8 mile becausethere's a hugedifference between 1/8 and 1/4 mile specially if we're talking about turbos just like neurotic said.

If you're running a 15s 1/4mile in a car that is 100% engine and no turbo... then that power is start to finish. However with our cars... you figure that if you're running 22psi boost... then the first 100ft of the track... you're probably running at like 120HP without boost. Unlike a mustang, camaro etc that is running its full HP from start to finish.

I haven't ran on 1/4 mile but seems to be very logic what you say and it sucks but 10.04 I think is still too much I should be doing at least high 9'swhat do u think?any suggestions about shifting points, launching etc....

You should figure out your shifting points elsewhere... not on the track. Just accelerate on the street and when you feel the "pull" start to drop off... usually around 5k to 5.5k rpm... then thats where you need to shift at for maximum efficiency. As for launch... Im the wrong guy to ask... Im still mastering it myself. My launches suck *****. I either launch slow as crap... or chirp the wheels, engaging the EPC and ESP. thus slowing the car down through the ECU (At least thats what I figure).
You gotta be able to launch at a high RPM really fast without breaking any wheels loose in order to keep the power up. Im still working on it... but good luck.

I launch at 5500 but that is with my new clutch and flywheel, I will have to dig up some old times to see what my 60ft times are but they say that 90percent of the drag is in the launch the rest is keeping it centered and good shifts.

Blown is a drag person and neurotic is far from, now tell me how you want to listen to? Plus neurotic said you would run slower times do to lag (reread his first post), you will only have lag in first gear and stock turbos technically dont have lag (when you hit 20psi before 3k)

I saw a STI that is running a GT40R only run 8.9 at the 1/8 mile track his 60ft times were just as good as mine, his car isnt made for a 1/4mile race its made from doing 40mph to 130mph in the blink of a eye. It all depends on the car and really what it is set up for. 10 flat in the 1/8 is a "average" time for the 225tt stock. I hope to get down to the 8's when I get back home but it is going to take some time and work. If you ever notice your boost gauge when your hauling, it will peak at your top psi and hold a bitbut it seems when you get into third and fourth gear you will only notice that your running about 15psi. Or am I the only one who this happens to?

Well those numbers i gave you were My own numbers..... from about month and a half ago..... I have to dig up the slip i have tons..... Theres no such thing as an 1/8 mileengine and 1/4 mile engine..... theres 1/8 mile tracks that ive run in my super charged Camaro and just swap a lower gear from 3.73's rear to 4.56.....
As far as Turbo cars having Different 1/8 mile times then a NA car thats b.s lolAnd alot of turbo carshit peak torqueSooner then a comperable NA motors anyway. Heres a few charts for you to look at

I could post my Dyno graph for 350 chevy where my peak torque is at 4500 rpm...but i figured id post the Same size engine.....above is a gsr integra 1.8 liter...... peak toqrue doesnt get reached till above 4500 rpm
