i meant the outside as the stock 710n valve is totally plastic....where as the R1 is metal

 

oh, in that case, its cast where all others are usually billet.

how is the R1 ? I want sound clips before i spend 140 on a new DV. I think my DV doesnt work properly. I think the spring is too much with one shim.

 

I would go with VMaxx coilovers from what I have been hearing they are doing pretty well over here in the States but they are from Europe. They should be cheeper also the and Koni's that you are thinking of putting on.

 

you could always try a SMIC instead of the Front mount. My boost factory is going in this weekend.
