Default 2008 Audi TT RS review

"The Audi TT is considered to be one of the most beautiful cars in the world. The only thing this car lacks is an outrageous level of performance. Apparently that is about to change as Audi are currently working at a high-performance TT version that will wear the famous RS appellative. With an anticipated power output of 365 bhp, the new beast will give serious headaches to all those Porche Caymans and BMW Z4s out there starting with 2008..."

This is from a new exclusive review on the 2008 Audi TT RS. You can read about it's features, history and competition it will face, and also view a photo gallery with the coupe.

It's kinda purdy

Saying it's going to be a headache for the Cayman S, though, might be a little bit of an overstatement, especially with the clubsport version just around the corner...

I prefer to look at my TT as a comfortable, attractive cruiser that spins heads and, when prompted, can spin wheels, too :P

Oh, and, BTW, I hope that this is just an overly-contrasted artists' rendition, as those taillights look a liiiittle too much like they came off of a 997.

I like what it's got under the hood, but I'm not so fond of the new body!
I say don't mess with my curves!

Love those HP numbers but the TT is all about curves not happy they took them away it's starting to blend too much with other sports cars like the BMW's Porsches and the 350z's

Okay, is it just me, or is the front end of the 08 TT starting to look like more like a Japanese racer (Mazda 6 comes to mind) than the European thoroughbred it is (was)?

BMW's Porsches and the 350z's
lol why do people put 350z's on a pedalstool, its not hard for a TT to beat a 350z once chipped

Because there a good car. 350Z is quick.
Sure a chipped 225TT will keep up with it
but now chip the 350Z or better yet twin turbo the 350Z.

I'm not one that thinks the 350Z is all that but i have driven them and there quick. I've also watch a lot of auto reviews from Europe and the car does pretty good.

Even in Euro tuner i was reading that the new TT Audi is trying to make it run with the 350Z they even used the name *350Z*

I don't think the Mk1 design TT will be outdated anytime soon, especially judging from the direction theyre apparently taking with the new one.

Looking at it again, I really like very little about it... (except the beautiful taillights, jacked from a 997 [:@])
