its the front sway bar bushings take a look at them and see what they look like....also make sure the bolts are still good and not sticking out a little as this will cause the creak(meaning the bushing is bad)

Most likely the front sway - there is a plastic sleeve between the sway and the bushing thatworks it's way loose. Mine looked like this. (edit-can't get pics toshow upso here are links - duh)

There is a TSB which calls for replacement of theswaybar and bushings.

Hope that helps!

To post pics... Just click on this button in the tool bar.
The suspension creak in the front is normally the plastic sway bar bushings as you mentioned. In the rear the sway bar bushings don't have the same plastic piece, but they still wear out and squeak.
The suspension clunk is most likely the strut bearing/bushing gone bad. You can pick up a replacement set at ECS tuning for around $30.

Hey.I found it really funny that you compared your sqeaking sound to an old bed... Mine does the same and I was wondering if you had a solution to the problem. The dealership says that there is nothing they can do because it is an aftermarket suspension... and being the options/oppotunity guy I am, I feel that there is a solution.
I found this recenty and wondered if it made sense to you...

The squeaking sound is coming from the rear passenger side... dealer says it's the shock rubbing on something...
Please, any help is appreciated.

Today I discovered that the creaking front suspension sound on my 2001 Audi TT 225 is coming from the suspension level sensor (this is the small mechanical linkage that is attached to the driver's side suspension "wishbone"). I tried spraying it with some silicon lubricant which stopped it for a few minutes but it's coming back. I'm thinking I need to put some grease of some sort on it?
Anyways, I'm thankful that it's not some sort of more expensive suspension problem! :-)
