Mine still logs the time even with a brief stop; like a rest-stop for example.

its too brief, requires something like a 15 minute stop. 5 minutes in a store will keep the clock counting.

All you have to do is hit the reset button on the underside of the wiper stalk to return the display to normal for another 2 hrs. Sounds like everyone is getting all bent out of shape about it.

it is a feature that tells you to give the car a decent brake after 2 hours of continious driving. It is not imperative that you stop, but it couldn't hurt.... and if it annoys you, just toggle through your trip computer and it is gone.

dude.. someone just asked this the other day. holy hell.. with some people it must go in one ear and out the other.
I surf this forum but don't pay attention to all the threads going. I thought it was a good question...So it's just a timer then? Hmm, interesting.
I was impressed when some one showed me the headlight washers. I had no idea what that noise/sudden flash of light was whenI used the washers at night. Ialmost thought there was something wrong.

thats why there islink for SEARCH.... peace out.

this happens all the time and has become a running joke with the little lady - we take frequent trips to the coast and it takes 2.5 hrs to get there - no biggie
