It's the built-in Audi self-destruct feature! Good thing you turned the car off!
That could of been a close one!!

I hear you can toggle through the options on your wiper stalk to restart the timer.

I surf this forum but don't pay attention to all the threads going. I thought it was a good question...So it's just a timer then? Hmm, interesting.
I was impressed when some one showed me the headlight washers. I had no idea what that noise/sudden flash of light was whenI used the washers at night. Ialmost thought there was something wrong.

I wish! I bought the car in late Sept with 46k and just rolled 60k beginning of this week. I think it works out to almost 1750 miles a month! Hey, I do enjoy driving this car though...

Look in your owner's manual; it's all there. It's basically a German overengineering feature to warn you that you haf bin dryfeen too long, mein herr, unt shood take a brayk.

seriously... it happened to me today too... and I didn't drive it more than 2 hrs..and why would the engineers care of how longI drove??? plus my TT makes a beep too with the flashing 2:00H.... i thought it was the nav system or something playing tricks on me...
